To mark the 60th anniversary of the Institute of Tourism and the World Tourism Day, the Institute and the Croatian Chamber of Economy organized a professional conference on the CONTRASTS OF CROATIAN TOURISM, at the Westin Hotel in Zagreb. The main topic of this conference was the dichotomy/polarization of tourism development in Croatia since it is this fact that will determine both the direction and the intensity of tourism development in the future, and balanced regional development of tourism is a key prerequisite for its long-term sustainability.
