BIST is an online management system for Croatian tourist destinations. It offers its users information on the development of tourism, market trends and accommodation capacities. BIST allows a quick analysis of the competitiveness of Croatian tourist destinations and other types of online analyses. Users can easily follow trends related to the average length of stay, seasonality, market shares, breakdown of guests and the occupancy rate of any tourist destination at local, regional or national levels.
BIST allows users to send ad hoc requests to meet their current needs, as well as continuous information based on a predefined selection of indicators. The data can be easily presented in graphical form and migrated to different computer programs should there be a need to merge the BIST data with data from other sources.
You can learn about BIST and use it after a simple registration procedure. The database, which contains data since 2001, is updated on a monthly basis.
The 2001 and 2002 data are available to the public and intended for all those who wish to learn about the system. Access to the system is based on an annual subscription. The subscription fee depends on the level of precision that the user wishes to access. more
