Participation of the Institute for Tourism at the RSA 2025 Conference

The annual Regional Studies Association 2025 (RSA25) conference was held from 6 to 9 May in Porto, Portugal, and brought together 850 scientists and experts from around the world. This four-day conference gathered researchers, academics, and policymakers to exchange knowledge, experiences, and the latest research findings in the fields of regional studies, science, economic development, public policy, and planning.

The Institute for Tourism was represented at this international event through two scientific presentations delivered by Dr. Luka Valožić and PhD candidate Leona Matotek:

Sustainability, Resilience, and Heritage: A Comparative Analysis of Tourism Policies in UNESCO and Non-UNESCO Sites
