The PACT-VIRA project research team is currently conducting field research on the island of Vis, within the Vis Archipelago UNESCO Global Geopark. Visitors to selected locations are invited to download the Thermal Comfort Tracker app and complete a short questionnaire on their thermal comfort and satisfaction with the weather conditions during their visit.
If you are spending your summer holiday in one of the study areas, we invite you to download the app, complete the short questionnaire, and contribute to this research.
The research is being conducted at the following locations:
- Plitvice Lakes National Park
- Kopački Rit Nature Park
- Vis Archipelago UNESCO Global Geopark
Instructions for Using the App
- Install the Thermal Comfort Tracker app.
- Sign in using your Google or Apple account.
- Press START to begin tracking.
- Allow the app to access your location.
- When you reach the first survey question, leave the app running in the background throughout your visit.
- At the end of your visit, reopen the app and complete the short questionnaire.
- Once you have completed the questionnaire, you may uninstall the app.
The location data and questionnaire responses collected through the app will be used exclusively for scientific research purposes within the framework of the PACT-VIRA project, funded by the Croatian Science Foundation.
