Senior Research Assistant Dr. Vedran Milojica participated in the 18th International Scientific Conference on the Service Sector INSCOSES 2026. The conference was held on 25 September 2026 in Ohrid, Republic of North Macedonia, and was organised by the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality in Ohrid, University of St. Kliment Ohridski Bitola.
He presented two papers entitled “Unlocking Uzbekistan's Rural Tourism Potential: A PESTEL and SWOT-based Situation Analysis”, co-authored with Prof. Dr. Erdogan Ekiz and Prof. Dr. Orhan Uludag from the Hospitality Management and Tourism School in Tashkent, Central Asian University, and “Analysis of Tourists' Attitudes towards the Tourist Offer of the County of Split-Dalmatia”, co-authored with Prof. Dr. Aleksandar Trajkov from the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality in Ohrid, University of St. Kliment Ohridski Bitola, and Assist. Prof. Dr. Goran Perić from the Toplička Academy, Blace.
Dr. Vedran Milojica also moderated the session entitled “Hospitality, Tourism Experience and Human Capital”.
This year's INSCOSES 2026 conference once again brought together numerous academics and practitioners with the aim of exchanging knowledge, experiences and innovative ideas in the field of the service sector. Particular emphasis was placed on fostering interdisciplinary cooperation, strengthening links between academia and practice, and discussing contemporary challenges and opportunities for improving service quality.
The conference contributed to the development of new research initiatives and the strengthening of international cooperation.
