At the international event “Paths That Last – Collaborating for a Sustainable Tourism in the Mediterranean”, held on June 25 and 26, 2025, in Split, Izidora Marković Vukadin participated on behalf of the Institute for Tourism, presenting the NaTour4CChange project in her role as project coordinator representing the lead partner within the Interreg MED programme.
The event gathered over 100 projects from the Interreg, IPA, and NEXT MED programmes and was organized under the umbrella of the Mediterranean Multi-Programme Mechanism, which brings together the following programmes: Interreg Euro-MED, Interreg Greece–Cyprus, Italy–Croatia, Italy–Slovenia, Italy–France Maritime, Italy–Malta, Italy–Tunisia, and NEXT MED.
Over the course of the two-day event, participants had the opportunity to exchange experiences and examples of good practices in the field of sustainable tourism, as well as to jointly develop recommendations for future tourism development guidelines in the Mediterranean region. The programme included keynote speeches, roundtable discussions, and five thematic workshops on:
- strategic management of tourism offerings
- the social dimension of tourism
- green transition
- inclusive and accessible tourism
- innovative tourism products
