Dr. Izidora Marković Vukadin Participated in the MED Sustainable Tourism Convention 2026 in Barcelona

Dr. Izidora Marković Vukadin, Senior Research Associate at the Institute for Tourism and Coordinator of the NaTour4CChange project, participated in the international MED Sustainable Tourism Convention 2026, held in Barcelona on 18–19 June 2026. The convention brought together experts, researchers, and representatives of the tourism sector from Mediterranean and European countries to exchange knowledge and experiences on the sustainable transformation of tourism.

As part of the thematic session dedicated to climate change in tourism, Dr. Marković Vukadin presented the NaTour4CChange project, which focuses on the development of climate-tourism strategies and action plans, as well as the design of concrete Nature-based Solutions (NbS) in pilot destinations that are also protected natural areas. The project contributes to strengthening the resilience of tourism destinations to climate change through sustainable management and participatory planning.
