Ana Perišić, Ivan Kožić and Ivan Sever participated in the IATE 2026 conference in Palermo

Ana Perišić, Ivan Kožić and Ivan Sever participated in the international IATE 2026 conference, held between June 23 and 26 in Palermo. The conference was organized by the International Association for Tourism Economics in cooperation with the University of Palermo.

Ana Perišić and Ivan Sever took part in the Behavioral Tourism session, where Ana Perišić presented the paper “Environmental Messaging in Protected Areas: How Communication Mode Shapes Visitor Attitudes Toward Behavioural Restrictions,” which is the output of the BIASTOUR project (HRZZ IP-2024-05-1450).

Ivan Sever presented the paper “Measuring Residents' Behavioral Tendencies Toward Tourists: Addressing Social Desirability Bias, Heterogeneity and In-Group Favoritism,” which is output of the SURVEY+ project funded through the NextGenerationEU programme.

Ivan Kožić participated in the Tourism and the Environment session, where he presented the paper “Towards a Tourism Sustainability Satellite Account: Lessons Learned from a Case Study,” which is the output of research conducted as part of the project Tourism and the Croatian Economy, funded through the NextGenerationEU programme.
